About Me

Who Am I?

Hi! My name is Cori, I’m a 20-something year old, college student getting a degree in communications and media so I can blog, facebook, and tweet for a living!  That sounds so much better than because I have nothing better to do and/or just love talking about myself! (Both of which are true though!).

My blog, Cori’s Big Mouth, started in July 2008 on Myspace of all places.  I blogged there for about 4-months before I switched to blogger where I spent the last 18 months blogging.  I’m now venturing into the self-hosting realm of blogging with www.corisbigmouth.com and trying to navigate my way through WordPress!  I’m not new to blogging, but VERY new to WordPress, so please bear with me as I fumble through!

What’s the Top 4 things/people I blog about?

1. My Family:  Family is very important to me, in fact my family really is my lifeI’m lucky to have my dad’s side of the family all close-by, who I get to see weekly (and often many times a week)!  My mom’s side of the family is spread out across the country, so I see them less frequently, but do communicate with them all the time!  So you’ll definitely see lots of holiday, birthday and other random family fun blog posts!

#2: Friends: In addition to family, friends are also important to me.  I’m lucky enough to have many friends, and many of those friends I consider more like family!  I blog a lot about outings and activities we do, plus just random fun we have with each other!

#3: The Triplets: I used to nanny for 3-year-old BBG (Boy, Boy, Girl) triplets and have been with them since before they were born!  I blog about our daily adventures, kids crafts and ideas for toddlers & preschoolers!  Plus the crazy things that 3-three year olds do and get into!

#4: School:As was mentioned, I am a college student.  I spent the last 2 years at a local private university trying to get into their nursing program.  This past spring I came to the realization that maybe nursing wasn’t right for me.  The more I thought about it, the more I wanted to write for a living and communication seemed like the perfect fit.  I’m currently attending a local college to finish my language credits, and starting in January, I’ll be transferring to the University of Washington to start my communications & media degrees!

So with all that being said, follow me as me and my big mouth as I survive college, being a nanny to triplets, and [try] to maintain friendships with my friends and family! It’s a big world out there, and My Big Mouth definitely gets me in trouble from time to time….
